software, both bookstores and customers no longer have to worry about
credit fraud or hackers. Specific information on our security features
are listed below.
- SSL Encryption
- Our websites use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, a
World Wide Web standard that foils would-be eavesdroppers and
hackers
- Address Verification Service (AVS)
- Credit information is verified using the Address Verification
Service (AVS)
- This valuable service compares the billing address submitted by
the shopper with information on file with the issuing bank
- It then lets you know how well the information matches and
allows you to reject any credit card use where the shopper doesn't
know the billing address
- This included feature will minimize, if not eliminate, credit
fraud on your site
- No extra cost - we don't use third-party vendors or charge
transactions fees
