Register Modes
Instead of clogging up normal register lanes with refunds and buyback transactions,
Sequoia's register modes allow any register to be specifically dedicated to any of the
following register modes:
Refund Mode Refund mode allows customer returns to be taken out of normal register lanes by processing
all items as a return, minimizing cashier mistakes.
Buyback Mode Buyback mode allows cash register to be used as a dedicated buyback terminal
The following register modes are also available for convenient and worry-free transactions:
Offline Mode Offline mode allows the registers to continue operating even if the server or the
network is unavailable or moved to a temporary location. The register will continue to be
fully functional including:
- Scanning
- Reporting
- Credit card scan
- Total updates
Terminal Mode Terminal mode allows a cashier to perform a price check, item search, stock-check
at various locations, order status, create special orders and check scholarship information
on the register in mid-transaction.
