Sequoia Retail Systems partners with CourseSmart to release eTextbook module

Sequoia Retail Systems and CourseSmart are pleased to announce an agreement on the development of a CourseSmart eTextbook module, which will allow subscribing college stores to offer CourseSmart inventory on their shelves. Crucial to the success of an in-store eTextbook program is the ability to retain the transaction in the store, as well as the ability to accept and process multiple forms of tender, including Student Financial Aid, where applicable.

The Sequoia-CourseSmart relationship makes CourseSmart eTextbooks available to a wide range of leading college bookstores serving some of the largest, prestigious and influential campuses at a time when textbook affordability and the costs associated with obtaining a college education continue to be of concern at the state and national levels.
