Sequoia is pleased to announce that Quadpoint, Sequoia's touch screen register application, PCPOS, our register application, and our Wireless POS product have been certified as PA-DSS compliant by the PCI Security Standards Council. Quadpoint, PCPOS, and Wireless are the first in a series of Sequoia products that we expect to be certified as PA-DSS compliant by this summer.

PA-DSS, known as Payment Application Data Security Standards, is a set of requirements that vendors and stores must meet to ensure that payment applications securely handle credit card data. As of July 2010, banks can no longer accept credit card transactions from any merchants that use non-PA-DSS compliant payment applications.

Sequoia has modified all point-of-sale applications to use VeriFone's IPCharge credit processing system and ensure that our applications do not store any credit data in your store or on campus. Additionally, our compliance auditors are certifying all of our required implementation and development documentation to complete PA-DSS certification and ensure your store may be fully PCI certified this summer-one year ahead of the credit industry's mandated deadline.

Our application suite is currently in the middle of PA-DSS certification. The following is our products' PA-DSS compliance status as of the beginning of June 2009.

Quadpoint - Product audit has been certified PA-DSS compliant by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC).

PCPOS - Product audit has been certified PA-DSS compliant by the PCI SSC.

Quadpoint Kiosk - Product audit has been certified PA-DSS compliant by the PCI SSC.

Wireless - Product audit has been certified PA-DSS compliant by the PCI SSC.

ePOS - Product is currently in beta test and audit is ongoing. Deployment will begin in June.
