Sequoia has made buyback completely mobile with Wireless Partner. This means
remote capabilities to conduct buyback on or off campus in real-time.
If you can go to the customer instead of them coming to you, you can
buy back more books which means higher margins! Additional features
include:
- Ability to run remote buyback anywhere within the wireless network. Buy books in
dorms, Greek housing, outdoor events or any building on your campus
- The handheld communicates with the server from any buyback location as
each book is bought
- Eliminates the hassle of running buyback at multiple locations
- Tracks each title bought at any time; no more waiting until buyback
is done
- Coordinates remote buy with in-store buy
- On-site cash payment
- Prints customer receipts at the point of buyback. Especially useful
if one employee handles books and another handles cash

and remote buys to keep from overbuying
