Pending Orders

Wouldn't it be great to be able to simply scan an item and the system would just "know" if it needs to be re-ordered? Wouldn't it be even better if this could be done from the sales floor? Good news! With Wireless Partner, simply scanning an item on the sales floor will auto-generate a pending order on items below minimum quantities. See below for details:
  • Allows the generation of pending orders for inventoried items that have fallen below minimum inventory levels.
  • Buyers can send a store employee out on the floor to scan a section of stock.
    • Each time an item or shelf tag is scanned, the current on-hand, on-order and minimum/maximum stock levels are displayed.
    • If the inventory for the item has fallen below its minimum stock level, an on-order quantity is automatically computed
    • The item is then put on a pending order to the primary vendor for the item.
    • Entire sections of a store can be checked very quickly.
    • Buyers can review pending orders, make any necessary adjustments and create purchase orders automatically. This speeds up the process of replenishing cyclical inventory.

Textbook Reordering

Textbook reordering can be done quickly and easily right from the sales floor. See the simple steps below:
  • Scan a shelf tag and see the following information for a textbook:
    • Author, Title, ISBN, On Hand (New & Used), On Order (New & Used), Sales (New & Used), Estimated Enrollment, Actual Enrollment
  • User enters a reorder quantity, after which the books can be quickly reordered in Textbook Partner, either from wholesalers, publishers or distributors.
