Requisitions
We know how difficult it is to obtain requisitions from faculty. We've
tried to make that task as easy as possible by giving both the textbook
buyer and faculty several methods of submitting their requisitions. These methods include:
- Generate requisitions to faculty based on previous adoption history
- Requisitions submitted online in ePOS are sent to Textbook Partner for
conversion into adoptions by bookstore staff
- Faculty receives email confirmation when they submit requisitions
Adoptions
Because adopting textbooks is a daily task, ease and efficiency as
well as accuracy are extremely important in buying correctly. Our
automated adoption software meets all those needs and more. Sequoia's Adoptions Module enables a user to:
- Work on multiple terms concurrently
- Handle special situations, such as seminars, short courses and
continuing education
- One-step option to copy adoptions from previous terms
- Automatically searches current book file, wholesaler buying guides,
or Books In Print when adopting a title
- Ability to import course information from the registrar's office
- Search by Author, Title, ISBN or Author-Title
- Adoptions automatically export to ePOS as they are added or changed,
making it very easy to post books online
- User-specified format allows modification of Purchase Order templates
to better suit an individual store's needs
- Quickly generate reorders during rush using handheld wireless
terminals (Palm POS+)
- Allows for the transmission of adoptions from the web to the Textbook
module
